1. Our Commitment to Copyright

Puzzlevia generates original puzzle content algorithmically. The puzzles created by our platform are generated using proprietary algorithms and seeded randomization — they are not copied from any third-party work. We do not store, reproduce, or distribute copyrighted materials of third parties.

However, if you believe that any content accessible through our platform infringes your copyright, we will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly.

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written notification must include all of the following elements (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

1. Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are covered).
3. Identification of the infringing material — including the specific URL(s) where the allegedly infringing content is located on our platform.
4. Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A good-faith statement that use of the disputed material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

4. Our Response to Valid Notices

Upon receipt of a complete and valid DMCA notice, we will:

• Review the notice and the identified content within 3–5 business days.
• Remove or disable access to the identified infringing material if the notice is valid.
• Notify the user who submitted the allegedly infringing content.
• Log the notice for compliance and repeat-infringer tracking purposes.

If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) must contain:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district where your address is located (or any judicial district if you are outside the US), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may reinstate the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

• Copyrighted word lists beyond common English vocabulary in the public domain.
• Copyrighted images, artwork, or media.
• Third-party puzzle designs or layouts that are protected by copyright.

If you have concerns about specific content generated by our platform, please contact us before submitting a formal notice so we can resolve the matter quickly.

Submitting false or bad-faith DMCA notices is illegal and may result in civil liability. We track all DMCA notices and counter-notices. Abuse of the notice-and-takedown process may result in your IP address being blocked from accessing our service.
